Are you recognised by the UK Government and are you accredited?

We’re a leading UK government recognised provider of all private COVID-19 tests. Our tests are analysed at UKAS accredited labs that comply with ISO15189 and ISO17025 standards.

Is an antigen test safe for children?

Yes, children of any age can take an antigen test but we require children under the age of 18 to have parental consent. Please check your point of destination as different countries have different requirements for children.

What are my destination's testing requirements?

You can find your destination's specific testing requirements using our destination tracker here

What are the entry requirements when entering the UK from different countries?

The UK has removed all countries from the Red List and does not impose different entry requirements depending on where you are travelling from. Entry requirements differ based on whether or not you are fully vaccinated. If you qualify as ‘fully vaccinated’ then prior to travelling to the UK you must:

  • Complete the passenger locator form

From Friday 11th of February, 2022, you will not need to self-isolate or take a Day 2 test. If you do not qualify as ‘fully vaccinated’ then prior to travelling to the UK you must:

  • Take a COVID-19 test in the 2 days before you travel
  • Book a Day 2 COVID-19 PCR tests
  • Complete the passenger locator form

After arriving in the UK, you must take your booked Day 2 COVID-19 PCR test. You are not required to quarantine unless you receive a positive test result.

Does an antigen test include a Fit to Fly certificate and is an antigen test suitable for travel?

We offer 2 services for the delivery of your Covid-19 Recovery Certificate:

An antigen fit to fly test does include a Fit to Fly Certificate. Antigen tests are suitable for travel to the UK, EU or USA but not all international destinations. Please note that for the antigen test to be accepted in the EU it must be on the EU’s approved list of antigen tests for entry. Our test is currently on the EU’s approved list. For other destinations that do not accept antigen tests, a PCR Fit to Fly test may be required. We recommend you check your specific destination requirements here.

What format do I receive my results in and what information is shown on the certificate?

Your test results will be sent to you securely by text and email including a PDF you can download. Your certificate will show your full name, date of birth, passport number (optional), date and time of test, and issue date. It will also be signed by our Medical Director, Dr. Jeremy Harris GMC: 3076541.

What are the possible results of my test?

Negative: You do not have any evidence of an active COVID-19 infection.

Positive: The virus that causes COVID-19 has been detected on your swab. You will need to self-isolate for 10 days in accordance with government guidance.

Unclear: On rare occasions, it might not be possible to say if you had the virus when your test was done. In the event of this happening please contact us, quote your order number and we will arrange a retest.

What does the test do and how accurate is it?

An Antigen test looks for viral surface proteins of the virus. It will confirm if you currently have the virus. It will not confirm whether you have had it and have developed an immune response - there are other tests available for that (see our antibody test). It’s a faster and cheaper alternative to a PCR test and has an accuracy of 98%.

How is an Antigen test taken?

We use a range of antigen tests certified for home use. Our tests are predominantly swab based but we also sell saliva-based antigen tests when available. All home antigen tests are self-administered using the instructions provided with the test.

Why should I take an antigen test?

Antigen tests are helpful in screening for mild, asymptomatic or acute patients for the identification of a COVID-19 infection.

What happens if I register the wrong test type during the registration process?

If you have accidentally registered the wrong barcode or test type please contact our customer support team so we can assist you in registering your test correctly.

What type of antigen test do you use?

We use Wuhan EasyDiagnosis Biomedicine Co., Ltd COVID-19 Antigen tests.

How quickly can I get the test results back?

Antigen home test kit results are always delivered within 1 hour after uploading your results to the registration portal.

What vaccination programmes are recognised in the UK?

The UK continues to recognise vaccination programmes from most countries (see list), including the UK, EU, and the USA. Travellers qualify as fully vaccinated if they can demonstrate vaccination certificates with a complete course of the following vaccines at least 14 days before arriving in the UK:

  • Oxford/AstraZeneca
  • Pfizer BioNTech
  • Moderna
  • Janssen (single-dose vaccine)
  • Sinovac-CoronaVac
  • Sinopharm Beijing
  • Covaxin
Formulations of the 4 listed vaccines, such as AstraZeneca Covishield, AstraZeneca Vaxzevria and Moderna Takeda, qualify as approved vaccines. You must have had a complete course of an approved vaccine at least 14 days before you arrive in England. Where 2 doses of a vaccine are required for a full course, you will be able to mix 2 different types of vaccines, for example, Oxford/AstraZeneca and Moderna. You are also allowed to have the 2 vaccinations under 2 different approved programmes, for example, Australia and Japan, UK and USA, EU and Canada.
